Responsibilities

1. COMMITMENT

1.1 The Managing Director acting as the Quality Management representative is committed to the Quality Management system and champions its implementation throughout the organisation.

1.2 The Managing Director is responsible for communication throughout the organisation, the importance of meeting customers as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.

2. CUSTOMER FOCUS

2.1 The Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring customer requirements are determined during initial surveys and documented in Assignment Instruction.

2.2 The Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction is enhanced wherever possible.

3. QUALITY POLICY

3.1 The Managing Director is responsible for the creation, content, implementation and communication of the Quality Policy and Objectives

3.2 The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring the Quality & Environmental Policy is appropriate, includes a commitment to continual improvement, provides framework for the quality objective and is reviewed for continuing suitability.

4. PLANNING

4.1 The Managing Director is responsible for:

  • Establishing Quality objectives at relevant levels and functions within the Organisation.

  • The planning and implementation of the Quality Management system delegating where appropriate to other staff.

  • Ensuring any changes to the business are reflected in the Quality Management system.

5. RESPONSIBILITY, AUTHORITY & COMMUNICATION

5.1 The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring all management are aware of their responsibility and authority. Appropriate documentation and training provide this.

5.2 The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring all staff and are aware of their responsibility and authority. Appropriate documentation and training provides this.

5.3 The Managing Director has assumed the role of Quality & Environmental Management representative and is fully aware of the requirements within ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015

6. MANAGEMENT REVIEW

6.1 The Managing Director is responsible for scheduling and chairing Management Review meetings at 3 monthly intervals that comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015

6.2 Meetings will be attended by all Management and other staff as deemed relevant.

6.3 The meetings will be minuted so that any corrective action required is noted. The minutes will be held in a file by the Managing Director.
